Loralee Schultz

MACP (Candidate)

About

Loralee is currently working on her Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She is currently practicing under the direct supervision of Jenny DeReis, MA in Counselling Psych, RCC. Loralee brings warmth, empathy, and a deeply relational approach to her work.
Drawing on a rich tapestry of life experience, Loralee offers a deeply relational, empathic, and non-judgmental therapeutic presence.

Her practice is grounded in client-centered, emotion-focused, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approaches—empowering clients to heal, grow, and thrive with newfound insight and resilience. Loralee is a steadfast ally to individuals of all genders, sexualities, and cultures, embracing 2SLGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities with affirming care.

Loralee believes that empathy, acceptance, and authenticity open the door to true healing and transformation. She is dedicated to fostering a collaborative, empowering partnership in which each client feels seen, respected, and safe throughout their therapeutic journey.

Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, Loralee has completed advanced trainings in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Foundations in Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, and Janina Fisher’s Trauma Certification. This fall, she will begin EMDR training and will soon be able to offer this powerful modality in her work as well.
