About
Christina Dewane is a Master of Social Work candidate at the University of Northern British Columbia and a Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
Christina believes that each person has an innate capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding when supported in a caring and nurturing environment. She brings a warm, grounded presence to her sessions, creating a safe space where clients can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with their strengths.
Her approach is holistic, person-centred, and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and respect for each client’s unique experiences. Drawing from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy (NT), Christina tailors her work to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
